RACE Coastal Engineering (RACE) is proud to announce that Zachary Visser, P.E., has earned his Professional Engineer license from the State of Connecticut.

After interning at RACE while attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Zach joined RACE full time in 2020. In addition to his engineering degree, Zach earned a Coastal Engineering Graduate Certificate from Old Dominion University.

​

Zach has gained extensive experience working on a wide range of waterfront projects, from structural inspections, design, permitting, cost estimating, construction administration through project closeouts. “We are excited to celebrate this achievement with Zach,” said Devin Santa, PE, President of RACE. “Zach’s dedication, technical knowledge, and experience bring tremendous value to our Team and to our Clients.”

Zach has a strong connection to the water. After enjoying rowing throughout high school and college, he continues to spend his free time fishing on Long Island Sound and visiting family on the Jersey Shore and in the Netherlands. When he’s not on the water, Zach enjoys working on classic vehicles and staying active through physical fitness.
