​RACE is proud to announce that Matthew Shuler, P.E. has earned his Professional Engineer license from the State of Connecticut.

​

Matt has worked on inspecting, permitting, and designing various residential, municipal and port facility shoreline protection structures. He has followed through on such projects performing construction administration services.

​

Prior to joining RACE, Matt worked for the Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) performing geotechnical engineering. Matt holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut (UCONN).

​

Matt grew up sailing in Eastern Connecticut and is passionate about access and preservation of the coastline. He is intimately familiar with Fisher’s Island Sound, often dropping anchor at East Harbor or West Harbor on summer weekends.
