RACE is proud to sponsor the Connecticut Association of Flood Managers (CAFM) 13th Annual Conference at Central Connecticut State University on December 2.
CAFM’s conferences bring together flood management professionals from across Connecticut to exchange knowledge, share lessons learned, and advance flood resilience throughout the State.
Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Transportation Garrett Eucalitto will be the keynote speaker. Conference sessions will examine the various flooding challenges facing Connecticut, available programs and funding opportunities, and experiences and lessons learned.
RACE will share insights about the recently completed self-regulating tide gate replacement project at South Pine Creek in the Town of Fairfield. The project demonstrates the complex balance between coastal resiliency, stormwater management, and tidal wetland restoration.
