John Thomas, PE, Senior Structural Engineer
John is a senior structural engineer with experience in the design of buildings, bridges, retaining structures and a variety of support structures. He has been with RACE for three years focusing on waterfront work including: structural design of new and renovated buildings including elevated foundations to meet FEMA floodplain requirements, design of new and rehabilitated public, commercial and residential sheetpile bulkheads, concrete seawalls, stone seawalls, pile supported piers and foundation supported piers. John’s engineering analysis and design expertise extends to structural steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and timber.
